The FORUM Goal and Objectives

FORUM Goal pursuit:

The goal of the UjimaSuites FORUM is for user agencies to take charge of the long-term management of their applications as co-owner/co-participants in a consortium. This allows for reduced costs and increased effectiveness to each member's operations.

FORUM Design Objectives

The FORUM's design objectives are three-fold and represent the areas for direction of the statement of work pursuits:

  • UjimaSuites Application Architecture
  • Research Design and Issue Advocacy Management
  • Facts and Data Coordination

The FORUM would be guided through its statement of work with the administrative support of Ujima, the host.

Design Objectives I - UjimaSuites Application Architecture

This design objective ensures the long-term stable configuration control and code enhancement. This factor also ensures the community' s use for both the Upgrade UjimaSuites Generic and other applications that Ujima may provide. This design objective also provides a nurturing environment of interested parties to commercially manage the UjimaSuites applications and their future user strategy.

Design Objectives II - Research Design & Issue Advocacy Management

This objective ensures the FORUM Members address as the changing environment as it is evolving surrounding Human Services issues that the UjimaSuites applications technology are designed to address.

Design Objectives III - Facts and Data Coordination

Objective 3 takes advantage of unique user requirements for research, reporting and business information in a standard, repeatable format. These consolidated efforts can then be used to obtain grants, conduct fund raising and lobby of common initiatives. Since the users will have facts and data in a standard format, via the use of the UjimaSuites applications, the concept becomes a reality through a body such as the FORUM, which would determine the use of all outputs.
