Food Services & Tracking Application

FSTA allows client service tracking for neighborhood foodbanks (pantries) and hot meal programs (including delivery), tracking

  • Detailed client information with special Survey of Needs function;
  • Volunteer activity and Donations.

All easily accessible from the Options Menu

FSTA is easy to use with user friendly screens accessed from clearly titled buttons with a click of the mouse (or by tabbing to the desired button).

Administrative controls allow editing of user-created categories. You can also delete prior visits or enter several visits at a time.

You can also:

  • Enter multiple identification numbers.
  • Track WIC eligible infants in a family.
  • View and add visits from a popup screen.
  • Find clients fast, sorting by name or address.
  • Set automatic client warnings with comment notes
  • Track client data by households or individuals.
  • Enter multiple telephone numbers
  • Screen eligibility by Zip Code
  • … and more!

And many functions in FSTA are automatic, such as moving clients who have not visited in 24 months to an inactive file. Former clients can be purged which helps to keep the database managable.

The client input screen allows tracking of family members by birth date and tracks relationships. Persons are automatically advanced and counted by age groups you define. And additional families can be added to same address.

Special Client Multiple-Tab Feature

The Client Survey of Need feature allows easy navigation with tabs that are as user friendly as dividers in a notebook, keeping the client data screens compact.

Five (5) tabs allow quick access to

  • Client/Household,
  • Commodities (TEFAP),
  • Special Diet Information,
  • Bag Type, and
  • Ethnicity information,

with family and visit subscreens.

Commodities (TEFAP) features

  • Separate client tracking handled easily under the Commodities tab.
  • TEFAP eligibility declarations can be written for all clients receiving Commodities.
  • Reports can be generated based on weekly or monthly distribution.
  • Commodities can be tracked by type of food.
  • Visits counted separately from regular program visit.

All client screens can be easily printed or more detailed reports are available in the Reports section of FSTA. The Administration section allows for access to 20 other tables to customize FSTA for each Agency, including who gets permission to use and/or modify the program.

Volunteer Features

  • Track labor in an easy to use time sheet, with quick access to multiple volunteers, time worked, skills and comments.
  • Quickly find details, including contact information, licenses and permits, available times and skills

Donor Features

  • Track donations by date, food type and value.
  • Multiple pull-down selections for most fields
  • Track donors with contact data & type of donation.

FTSA provides multiple category edits for volunteer and donation tracking allowing agencies to use in-house terms and names.
